Device? Please help !

Hi,
Maybe it hasn't hit internet yet.. but I'm telling you I ordered Firestick 4k about 2 weeks ago and downloader as an app is not available and hitting it 7 times didn't work either.
I appreciate your help truly, but it doesn't work.
I've set this up on my older firesticks and even recently and it worked fine, but not the new one.
If you have any advice, please let me know.

I know a ton of end-users and resellers who do that mate, I'm not throwing away irresponsible comments.
The only version that has limitations (Closed-OS) is the Select version.

1. Go to the Fire TV Stick's settings page
2. Select My Fire TV
3. Go to Developer Options Note: If you do not see Developer Options, go to Settings > My Fire TV > About. Now, select Fire TV Stick and click it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
4. Turn Apps from Unknown Sources to ON
   1. Accept the warning about installing external apps
5. Go to downloader and download our app using the codes above
6. Simply enter your details

On this I can see you say you can’t see downloader in the store it does seem like you have a firestick select as I bought a new firestick around 2 weeks ago sideloaded it fine

You can find your device like this

check the device's settings by going to Settings > My Fire TV > About, where it will list the Device Name(e.g., Fire TV Stick 4K Max) and Device Type(e.g., 2nd Generation), or look for the model number on the physical device label for more technical details like generation and hardware specs.
Also I see you have a Roku 4k to sideload on this you’ll need a pc (I’m not 100% on side loading on a Roku) here is a method I found online
Step 1: Enable Developer Mode
On your Roku device's remote control (not the mobile app), press the following sequence of buttons precisely in order:

• Press Home three times.
• Press Up two times.
• Press Right, Left, Right, Left, Right.

A developer settings screen will appear. On this screen:

1. Write down the IP address of your Roku device.
2. Read and accept the developer license agreement.
3. Select Enable installer and restart.
4. Create and confirm a password for the web server login, and write it down.
5. Select OK to restart your Roku device.

Step 2: Sideload the App via Web Browser
Ensure the computer you are using is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Roku device.

1. Open a web browser on your computer.
2. In the address bar, type the IP address you noted in Step 1 and press Enter.
3. A login prompt will appear. The username is always rokudev, and the password is the one you created during the activation process.
4. After logging in, you will see the Developer Application Installer page.
5. Click the Upload button and select the sideloadable application file (which should be a .zip or .squashfs file) from your computer.
6. Click Install to load the application onto your Roku.
7. The app will install and automatically launch on your TV screen.

Keep in mind that you can typically only have one sideloaded app installed on your Roku device at a time. Uploading a new app will remove the previous one. For developers interested in creating their own channels,

That's what I was sharing with the admin. On the new firestick the 7 times doesn't work. Please see link in my previous post. I have been able to in older firestick. On Roku, I have activated the developer mode, but installng IPTV Smarters Pro or Downloaders is not working. You can see the error messages I got in the process that the admin has been so patiently helping me through.

Either would work but 4k max would perform better as it has double the storage and a faster gpu

I have seen you can use ibo player pro and hot player that is on the Roku store but that’s doing a little bit of searching so could be slightly inaccurate

Activated the premium version too.... Features such as, autoplay next episode AND playback position works wonderfully... that's what I've been looking for all this time !
Only thing is it's not saving favorites... Not on live TV nor on Series.. when you click the heart icon for series, it's clicking but not turning red and not being added to "favourties"
Am I doing something wrong ? Not the end of the world cuz I can access most things from continue watching. Not sure though why it's not working.

Hi bud glad to hear it’s working I haven’t actually seen an issue before where favourites are not actually saving but when there are issues usually the most common fixes are going to the firestick app settings and clearing cache here’s a guide

go to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications, select the problematic app, and then choose Clear Cache

You can also try unplugging the the devices for a few minutes just to give it a reset if both of these fail maybe try to uninstall and reinstall the app let me know if you run into the issue after all of this

1- make sure you are using latest smarters pro v4 directly from their own website
2- try another app as well.

Hi Vuah,
I tried the code in the guide for XCIPTV but it said page not found. It does look for the right app xciptv.apk.. but doesn't find the download file
Is there a different code ? I used downloader app

Also, would the app version be different for smarters that I got from Downloaders app vs. downloading directly from iptvsmarters.com ? If so, how do I install it on my firestick ?
